Several projects are going on this year:

1. "Eagle Scout" projects:

The "Double Bridges" over by Marrotta Lane will both be replaced in two separate Eagle Scout Projects. They will both be widened and raised higher off the water (to maybe prevent them from moving during flood season. the approaches will be corrected and all the overgrowth of the briars will be removed. Another Eagle Scout project will be in the "Tree Farm" at the "Community Gardens", many more trees are to be planted as well as more fencing.

2. The Horn Pond trail posts will all be resealed and a couple others that have been disturbed will be reset and cemented in place.

3. Downed trees will be removed or cleared from waterways and trails.

4. Exercise equipment and sites will be checked, bolts tightened, touched up with paint and re-mulched.

5. Several trails will be widened and the washed out areas repaired. Work is also to be done to the "Red Bridge" including replacing some of the planking on the bridge and filling the eroded approaches.
